I wore a red and white striped dress with a blue belt and my heart-shaped sunnies (pictured here on marcus) for fourth of july. It was our first fourth of july together-- since Marcus is working on a film he couldn't make the traditional family vacae in california. Sad for him, but good for me. We climbed the roof of the rooftop balcony we went to a bbq at to see the fireworks that were hidden behind midtown. Last year we got such a good view, I feel like the city of New York was punishing us for living in brooklyn. There was still some crazy, noisy, red white and green fireworks from the puerto rican's down the street that we cheered to. In total there was 4 Aussies at the BBQ! We tried to put on traditional Aussie music which did not get a good reaction. Eventually we gave in and just played Metallica. It was fun.

I've had a nice lazy day today, watching shows, eating, reading my book on the roof and cutting t-shirts into tanks!
