bands and bogeys

i did go to brooklyn and i met julie at the etsy labs that were totally amazing and overwhelming. we got a goko screenprinting demo and ordered thai food and talked about crafts. julie is really sweet. she invited me to see her boyfriends band last night.

yesterday was the PERFECT day weatherwise. it was like a spring day that i'm so jealous hearing everyone have in aus. i went grocery shopping and the internet was down so i helped juan cook again.

then i went to ludlow st to see 'prince and pearl'. they were pretty good.. it was only their 3rd show but they were cute. then we went- julie and her boyf and some friends, to get pizza. i talked lots about australia (i do that often) and had to wait AGES for all my trains home. in the end it took me over an hour and by the time i was almost home i had missed my last train home. once mic and i walked along the tracks to my house so i had to do it again but this time i was ALONE and i walked the streets and it was SCARY. i didnt really see anyone until i was almost home and then a car followed me but luckily not up the one way street. i think i must have blocked out how potentially scary that whole ordeal was. it was almost 3 by the time i got home. phewie.

now i'm debating wether to do a production assistant internship for film that lasts 4 weeks but then you have to commit to two years working... also you need a drivers' licence and mine was just stolen... also if i want to get a NY licence i have to do the whole learners test and everything!!! NO WAY. also i have to be a resident of NY.... is it all worth it? i just dont know..
